Honoring Strength, Pride, and Wildlife Protection
On the occasion of International Tiger Day, Cambridge Montessori, Velachery Vijayanagar celebrated our National Animal, the Tiger, with great enthusiasm and purpose. The majestic tiger is not only a symbol of India’s strength and pride but also an endangered species that needs our protection. Through engaging activities, our children learned about the tiger’s habitat, the importance of forests, and how deforestation takes away its home. In their own innocent words, they spoke about saving forests and protecting wildlife.

Bringing the Jungle to Life Through Drama and Activity
Our Grade 1 and Grade 2 students presented a meaningful play highlighting the importance of tiger conservation, while the younger children participated in creative Tiger Day activities that nurtured observation, creativity, empathy, and fine motor skills. The stage was transformed into a vibrant jungle, bringing the learning experience to life.
