INDEPENDENCE DAY
Independence Day is one of the most cherished and proud moments for every Indian, and our school celebrated this national festival with immense enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on 14th and 15th August 2025.
🌟 Day 1 – 14th August 2025: A Prelude to Patriotism
The celebrations began on the 14th of August with a series of cultural activities that set the tone for the grand event. Students from various grades showcased their talents through patriotic songs, dance performances, skits, and speeches that highlighted the struggles and sacrifices of our great freedom fighters.
The school campus was adorned beautifully with tricolor balloons, flags, and banners, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with pride and devotion to the nation. The students’ heartfelt performances and enthusiasm made the event truly memorable. It was a wonderful start to the two-day celebration that encouraged everyone to reflect on the value of independence and unity.
🎉 Day 2 – 15th August 2025: A Day of Pride and Patriotism
The main celebration took place on 15th August, marking India’s 79th Independence Day. The event began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mrs. Vidya Louis, Founder Principal of Wisfield International School, Chengalpattu. The proud moment was followed by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the air with a deep sense of patriotism.
Students once again displayed their love for the nation through energetic performances, inspiring speeches, and heartfelt skits that paid tribute to the brave heroes who fought for our freedom. Every act reminded us of the struggles that paved the way for our independent India.
